I am really excited about my new venture into 4×5 format photography. I have been shooting medium format cameras recently at some of my events and I started out shooting 35mm in high school but 4×5 is a whole new game. The depth and detail in a 4×5 print is unsurpassed by digital or even medium format. I have a couple of friends that are helping with this transition which is making it easy to make the leap. They are helping me with everything from the right film to even borrowing equipment. For me this is totally new and exciting. There is no preview screen just a good light meter and a lot of curiosity. I will post film shots here as I get them developed, maybe the next step is a dark room

Christen is a girl we ran into while getting some framing done. Her Mom and I started chatting but when it was time to go her mom accidentally took my car keys.
So I waited in the parking lot for Diana (my wife) to come and bring me a spare set of keys. Well Christens mom must have realized that she had a spare set of keys and returned to find me waiting in the parking lot. We laughed and quickly became friends that night. (We still have to have them over for dinner) Well once Christen invited me to become friends on facebook I saw that she was very photogenic. So I asked her if we could do a photo shoot with her around charlotte. As you can see she accepted in return for baby sitting (I would have done it for free
. Christen as you can see is beautiful and soo captivating on camera, Full Picture gallery coming soon.
